No longer on Kyr Records (we miss him) but moving on to exciting new things…

It is not on Kyr records, but the fantastic Alien Transistor. The new Joasihno album! Yay.

A few weeks ago, the mighty Containerhead from Regensburg supported Tortoise in Munich. Still one of the best live Bavarian bands out there, yet unfortunately their concerts are few and far between.

KKR visited Germany on their first small tour over here. They will be back soon for concerts and for recording their new record in Berlin. Here are some impressions from the tour:

Bevor Joasihno The Notwist auf Europatour begleitet, gibt’s aus der selben Ecke ähnlich tolle News. 13&God, die Band bestehend aus Mitgliedern von The Notwist und Themselves haben Joasihno gebeten, ihr neues Video zu machen.
Gestern hatte es Premiere auf Pitchfork.com

Wie super und wie aufregend. Wir haben eine neue Band auf Kyr Records. Diese Band ist eigentlich ein junger Herr aus Helsinki/Finnland, der sich den schön komischen Namen “Koria Kitten Riot” gegeben hat.
Wir sind ziemlich sofort – frei aus dem Englischen übersetzt – mit seiner Musik in Liebe gefallen.
Das neue Album wird Bombe.
Was wir so alles planen, wann das Album erscheint, wo Koria Kitten Riot in nächster Zeit (vielleicht auch in Eurer Nähe) spielen werden und das alles erfahrt Ihr demnächst hier. In jedem Fall: geil.

Hey there, we are very happy to welcome a new band on Kyr Records. “Koria Kitten Riot” are from Helsinki/Finland and are actually the project of singer/songwriter/multiintrumentalist/Cursive-Bright Eyes-Elliott Smith loving Antti Reikko.
We fell in love with his music immediately and are very much looking forward to releasing his new record.
We keep you updated about the relase date, live dates, and everything else that matters.
